Kansas has an official government. We are not it.
Unofficial Kansas is a lifestyle and apparel brand for people who know Kansas, love Kansas, laugh at Kansas, and occasionally wonder why the wind is trying to knock over their trash cans.
We make clothing, goods, and other unofficial necessities inspired by the people, places, weather, geography, and general weirdness of the Sunflower State. We believe Kansas is worth celebrating without taking ourselves too seriously.
So we're taking the things Kansas is known for—wide-open spaces, questionable weather, small towns, endless highways, wheat fields, windmills, and being approximately as far from an ocean as you can get—and turning them into something you actually want to wear.

Some of our collections take the form of fictional Kansas institutions.They're ridiculous. They're also very Kansas. And that's the point.
FOR PEOPLE WHO GET IT
You don't have to be born in Kansas to appreciate it. You don't even have to live here. You just need to understand that sometimes the best way to show a little Kansas pride is to make fun of it. Unofficial Kansas is for the people who recognize the joke, appreciate the place, and don't need everything to be taken quite so seriously.
